‘LOVESICK’ is a hypnotic banger from London-based Tiiva. We’re dropped into a synth-heavy landscape, with pulsating bass and insistent hi-hats creating the backdrop for Tiiva’s “open letter to the lonely.” She explains that the track “came out of the loneliest space, even writing this almost a year later feels so soon. To be without the people we were closest to and loved, was one of the hardest things we have had to endure.” Influence from the likes of Charlie XCX and FKA twigs is clear in her mixture of glittery pop and leftfield eclecticism. -Dan Peeke
